Top: Crops: Potato: Powdery Mildew:

It starts out as a brown lesions on the stems.   The lesions then grow into gray spots or streaks on the potato stem or leaves.  The white coating that is found on most plants containing powdery mildew is only found on the potatoes under severe conditions.
